God cares about you.

He cares about His people.

What you care about, He cares about.

His people care about YOU & me.

 

These past 2 months have been very humbling.  I have seen the caring side of people.  Yes I've seen the bad side. But when you strive to be more like Jesus, your heart wants to reach out to them even more. 

God has shown me that:
 

People will fight with you.
(I have people praying on my behalf to raise all of the money I need.  I have also been sick, but people's prayers are knocking the enemy off his feet. TAKE THAT SATAN!!)

People will believe in you.
(People have been declaring the destiny over my life.  People have high hopes for me. They believe that I can do all things through Christ.)

People will provide.
(I've asked Jesus for a new backpack for the race.  A generous lady said I could pick out any backpack I wanted.  My friend Elizabeth Huff has also given me some of her stuff to use for the race, which will save a ton of money!)

People feel led to give.
(I have $5,500 so far, $10,000 more to go! I am SO THANKFUL! When I get anxiety or doubts, that's when the Lord proves me wrong and someone will give a donation.)

People care about your journey with the Lord.
(People want to know about the spiritual attacks, hardships, praises, blessings. etc. Accountability/ discipleship.)

People care when my heart is overwhelmed.
(That is when people start praying for me, and the peace of God flows like a river.)

People will rejoice with you.
(I have called/texted multiple people when I get a donation, and they are just as excited as I am! I called my friend Kathryn the other day because I made a 100 on my first quiz, she was happy with me! It's the little things that count.)

People can see the light of Jesus over me.
(I went to get an MRI on Thursday.  When they called me in, the man said I was "chipper & happy". That morning I prayed that the Lord would shine over me, and that people would see Him in me.)

 

This is the body of Christ.  It is so important to have a good support system.  I love my Jesus family.  I understand that not ALL people care. I have met plenty and will meet more that could care less about my life or the Father.  It is hard raising money and having that insecurity that people won't help you. Here is the cool thing about the sons and daughters of Christ,  when you are so wrapped up in the Lord, that is when your cares turn into HIS cares.  Then you and the King are working as ONE. That is when you will see the miracles, divine appointments, the glory of God up rise. What a FUN way to live!  This is the season I'm in.  Receiving the goodness of the Lord. He is preparing my heart for the next step.  I've had my awful days, but that doesn't change where the Lord stands. He is here, teaching me things daily.  Hearing His voice on the small things is building me up the most.

92 It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
2 To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning,
And Your faithfulness every night,
3 On an instrument of ten strings,
On the lute,
And on the harp,
With harmonious sound.
4 For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work;
I will triumph in the works of Your hands.

5 O Lord, how great are Your works!

I'm not sure if any of this makes sense.  Let's just say, I'm abundantly blessed.
