On Sunday I volunteered to preach on Philippians 2. It's one of my favorite chapters in the Bible and God reminds me of it often. It's about walking in humility and unity in the body of Christ. Our contact was the translator and doesn't speak English very well, so who really knows what got said and what didn't. Anyways. After I was done, our contact, a woman named Pastor Vanencia, continued to preach. Next thing I know, some people are bringing a woman up to the front who looks like she had passed out.

Weird

They lay her down then she starts convulsing. My squad leader/friend Kellie and I look at each other and say.."oh heck no!". After a few minutes we decide to go pray over this woman who continues to squirm and scream. This woman is extremely oppressed by evil and it was time to let go. Kellie starts praying and then I say "leave in Jesus name!" And the woman shakes her head no. Clearly, this was not her speaking. It was the demons surrounding her. Then my adrenaline starts pumping and I'm over here like.."oh yeah, satan? You've got nothing on me!". We start praying in the spirit (tongues, yes I said it). At this point, me and Kellie are holding her up and we think she has been raped. We ask her about her past and she said she's been raped by her uncle. In order for justice to happen, she partakes in witchcraft. Her uncle has been involved, so lots of cycles of witchcraft have been going on..for years. This woman hadn't told anyone about her situation for 14 years.

It was time for freedom.

More of my team had gathered around her, speaking life and truth over her, Scripture, anything and everything good. We are commanding satan to leave in Jesus name, and the woman is throwing up and proclaiming that Jesus is her Lord and Savior. That gets satan every time. Punk.

After about two hours, she is relieved. It was her first time visiting that church. I believe it was a divine appointment from The Lord that we all encountered each other that day. Witchcraft is real. Demons are real. The demonic is a powerful, evil force but nothing compares to the glory of God. He reigns over everything, and He is ALWAYS victorious. The enemy lost that day. God's daughter was restored and renew.

AMEN!

oh one more thing, I got a weave. Yep, I'm super cool.
