I am quickly learning that 3 A.M alarms buzzing in my ear is the "norm".
…..Why is that okay?
Because that means it's time for adventure.
I woke up this morning at that time and I was also excited because it was my 22nd birthday! What a great birthday present, to start this year with an amazing journey with God. Not many people get to do this on their 22nd birthday, I'm blessed.
I went to 4 states in one day and I eventually made it to Washington D.C to meet my squad. I am sore from my huge pack that almost exceeded the weight limit. My emotions are flying high. I'm learning to walk in abandonment and the fullness of God. Am I ready? I'm not sure, but I know my desires of my heart is to see the goodness of God all the days of my life and to see HIm in every situation. Right now, I'm so sleepy I can hardly see the screen to finish this. But, my heart is ready for more and to see what God is up to.
We already had a team change. A sweet girl named Alex is on our team. She is full of joy and is a great leader. I'm excited to love on her and serve the nations together!
We are leaving to Honduras on Friday and the whole squad of 41 will stay together. I love my new community and my new family. We could use prayer for finances and for unity.
Thanks everyone for sending me off so strongly. The hugs, prayers, encouragement, and love is still overwhelming me. I'm glad The Lord has molded me into new things over the past couple of years, because I'm about to go on the biggest life changing adventure.
