hey everybody:) After all of the preparing packing maybe a little stressing, fundraising, praying, and much excitement we are finally here! I think I speak for my whole team when I say training camp was wonderful, refreshing, thought provoking, and sometimes challenging, but in the best way possible. We have spent near 20 hours on a plane and are happy to finally have our feet in Asia after many moths of dreaming about it. We are all so thankful to finally be here and couldn’t be here without the prayers and support from all of our family and friends. I wanted to write this to thank everyone who helped me to get here financially, everyone who helped prepare my heart in prayer and in giving me wisdom. I know many of you have prayed over my team and wow the Lord answered that prayer so faithfully! It is so evident that He hand picked each of us and put us all together on this team on purpose. We have so many similarities among our teammates and so many gifts and talents. Something I asked the Lord for was a joyful team who can laugh together and He provided that so graciously. In just the few days of training+travel we have already shared so many laughs and silly moments. Once we arrived to the Atlanta airport from training camp, we all loaded onto a bus to take us to the international terminal. The bus was full of just us ladies and a young man from Japan, and the sweetest bus driver. One of our teammates struck up a conversation with him just having small talk and being polite. Within minutes our team leader sarah was sharing the gospel with him. It was so awesome to watch her do that. Later some of our team saw the man in the airport and he recognized them and waved to them and they spoke again. It was such a good reminder that the mission field is everywhere we go to everyone we meet. I’m new to this whole blogging thing but I wanted to thank everyone for all of the support- it means so much. And I want to keep everyone updated on how the Lord is working in and around us. ????????????????
