I wanted to give a huge shout out to our treasurers! There is one treasurer per team, and they handle ALL of our finances! So- shout out to: Conner, Bliz, Meagan, Amy, and John!
They receive a monthly budget from what we raised for support, and are given a ministry set up sheet that talks about the cost of food for the month, lodging, transportation, possible supplies, and any events that our ministry plans on hosting.
When the ministry doesn’t cook for us for the month, our treasurers come up with how much our budget is and then they have to pull out that amount per week or however they decide to do the budget. This was a real hassle in parts of Africa, because the ATMs would sometimes not work, or they’d be out of money!!
I am not a huge finance lover- usually it just stresses me out, so I wanted to give a huge shout out to our treasurers and say thanks for all the hard work that you do!! 🙂
