Time has gone by SO fast!! I keep remember some training camp videos where I was so excited to be doing this 11 month travel thing sharing Jesus’ name and now… it’s almost over?!?!! Where did the time go?!?

At training camp when they said that month eight/nine becomes the “cozy” months of wanting to just keep to yourself or not extend yourself to others I thought they were crazy. They said that things just became “normal” after awhile as if the world race had its own groove.. I was thoroughly confused and thought, surely that won’t be me! There’s no way- there’s a whole culture to explore and get to know and really dive into! All that is true, but my reality has slowly been slipping into what past racers have done- this past week especially…

This month, month nine, we are in Romania!! We are working ferverently alongside two different ghettos and really pouring into the homeless population. My team, along with another team has been really awesome about getting to know the locals, playing games, and really seeking to live on the people we come in contact with. That’s what our host asked of us this month- to love the people we are doing ministry with. Whether it’s a smile, hug, or even a hi-five. The youth are seeking hard core- for love. They come to the church we stay at and really cling to us as their shelter and safe haven, it’s both affirming and unnerving for us as we recognize what their home life must be like. For some of my teammates, they’ve seen it and it’s something that will never be erased from their memory…

I haven’t played a “huge” role in ministry this month as I have been very contagiously sick for the last week. I had bacteria in my lungs and it affected my ears and throat as well. I have been taking medication for the last six days and I am finally feeling much better! This week will be a full week of ministry and I’m excited to see how God will move during this time!! ๐Ÿ™‚

This is a SUPER big side track, but…. for all of you who have read my blog from Zimbabwe about the blind ladies house… if you had been praying about the situation or are curious about it… I have an update!!! God is GOOD AND FAITHFUL!!!! God helped us raise all the necessary money to build this woman a new house that will last the rest of her lifetime!!! Praise God!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for all of your prayers and support! I will be trying to catch up on blogs all this week! Stay tuned!! ๐Ÿ™‚
