So I just wanted to share a couple pictures with you guys about my first day in working here in Madagascar. We are staying in this amazing compound with my whole squad and living mixed in with the locals in the community. This is just a little snippet of some of what we did here in the community the first day. 🙂
This is one of my team mates, Lauren playing with the kids at the preschool here in Madagascar! This is our first day of work here and we got to spend some of it just playing with the kids here at the school! Teeter toters are the best!

During our first day here doing ministry, we went into the homes of people and got to just start building relationships with them. We made friends with these kids and talked to them about their school and what they want to do when they grow up. We also got to pray with them and encourage them to stay in school. They were so incredibly sweet.

This is also those same kids, as well as their mom and aunt who came up to us originally carrying huge bags of food for their cows on their heads! It was really great talking to them and seeing just how much they cared for their family and how strong they were. They were beautiful women, and we also got to pray with and for them. They asked us to pray for their animals, and for their families health. It was so cool getting to just spend time with them, and hear about their lives. I love getting to know the locals so much, they were truly beautiful strong women.
