It’s been awhile since I have shared what’s going on in my life through this blog. With the lack of sleep and long days, I’ve decided to keep it short and simple and inform you all through some bullet points!

1. Work has been chaotic, but it’s been good. Since the beginning of December, I’ve worked an average of 55 hours a week between both of my jobs. As my days seem long, it brings me such joy to see my residents laughing, smiling, enjoying the fun holidays, and relaxed in such a cold and breezy winter. We are all certainly ready to go on walks in the sun around the Minneapolis lakes again!

2. ALL of you are such an incredible blessing in my life and I praise Him for each of you. Since I have shared the World Race with my family, friends, church, co-workers, and even some strangers, God has shown up in some mighty ways in my life. I can feel the prayers coming my way as I prepare to launch in less than 6 months. With my monthly commitments for February, I am only $19.50 away from having 50% of my funds in my account. I am so encouraged by all the ways you guys have all supported me as I prepare to be the hands and feed of Jesus all around the world.

3. A quick story of how God has been faithful this month!

Last week I became a tad bit discouraged as I received the call from my bank saying my check card had suspicious fraud. As I called the places my card had been used, opened a report with the police department, and at the bank to dispute the charges, I realized I needed to put all this in His hands. Money is just money. [For those who don’t know me as well, I am a real big saver so this event dragged me down a lot.] I’ve been saving literally pennies for the Race, I was unsure if the bank would credit me back the suspicious charges. I decided it’d be a good idea to sit down & plan out my budget for the next 6 months.

As of now.. and by God’s grace, it looks like when I launch in early August. I should have enough saved up to continue to pay my schools loans when I am gone rather than defer them. As well as have a tad bit saved up for spending money when I am abroad or to come back with some money to my name! Wow! I really hope this can be the case! So new prayer request that this can happen!! …Oh and.. I was fully credited for the suspicious fraud & got a new card!! Praise the Lord!

4. Last, and MOST important! I have 3 upcoming fundraisers! And I would love for you to be present at each of them. Whether you come to enjoy the event, help out, donate your goods, or to just support me would be amazing! Put these on your calendar!
