YAY! I’m so happy to tell all of you that I am now 27% funded! That is so incredibly awesome and proves the faithfulness of our Lord. 
How awesome that I have great family and friends who have been helping me out along the way! I ended up selling about 75 t-shirts which profited a rough estimate of $300 towards my trip! Thank you everyone who has donated and will continue to donate to this mission God has called our hearts to.
Let me update you a little bit on how things are going while I continue to mentally and physically prepare for the race!
We found out the dates of our training camp and with that came a little bit of nerves on a new physical fitness test! Safe to safe I’ll be hitting the gym leading up to camp. We will be required to hike two miles with our packs in 33 minutes! Yikes, serious prayer will be needed for this circumstance 
Our squad continues to grow and now we are about 41 strong now and I cannot wait to grow in faith with all these amazing brothers and sisters in Christ. Recently, all the girls have broken into 3 separate groups so we can do an intimate bible study together. We are going through a plan of Esther from She Reads Truth. It’s been so cool these past couple days to dig deeper into our image as daughter’s of God and to dig into scripture together. I love how God reveals Himself everyday to me as I seek His face with the rest of my squad.
Today I found this verse that brought me much peace as I dig deeper into the Word of the Lord. 2 Peter 1:19-21 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, through human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. What a great testimony of the truth and authenticity of God’s Word and faithfulness.
