I would like to introduce you to Dave Sgro and his family.
This month we were partnered with Go Ministries. Dave Sgro and his family have this ministry that is based in both Guatemala and the Philippines. Our team was the second team to visit the Philippines and partner with this ministry. Dave took the first week to really show us how to make ministry out of everything we do. He had us do everything from arnis and Zumba in the square to volunteering us to play a basketball game against the church team (in case you didn’t know, Basketball is the national sport of the Philippines and they take it very seriously). During our time here we helped plan and put on a VBS program for Moriah Baptist Church. We had the opportunity to also train the youth in how to plan and put on VBS programs of their own. This church holds a special place in my heart and I truly enjoyed my time here. Dave told us a little bit about his ministry in Guatemala and his hopes to open up a base in Italy. This was an incredible month and I am so thankful for this ministry and the work that Dave and his family are doing.
