Meet Sanderson and Lweendo, along with their two girls Cheyenne and Shannon.
This family is so sweet. They cared for us so well when we were there. Their ministry has two sides to it. The first is a project they launched to help fundraise for J Zone. African Christian Safaris is a wonderful resource for booking all your African adventure needs in and around Livingstone, Zambia. They took care of arranging all of the wonderful adventure day activities that we got to participate in during our time in Zambia, including a safari in Botswana, and bungee jumping off the bridge at Victoria Falls. J Zone ministry receives a portion of the money from any booking without charging any additional booking fees. If you are planning a trip to Zambia, hit them up.
Here is what the money goes to and what the ministry is really all about. J Zone is a very wide reaching ministry that serves in many different ways in Zambia. They do medical missions in the villages, they have a windows ministry, and they partner with several orphanages near Livingstone. Their main ministry is focused on children and youth. While we were there we helped clear a piece of land and turn it into a play park for children. We cleaned it up and fenced it in, and we had the privilege of helping host the first two day camps held there. The land is used as a tool to open doors and reach the youth for Christ.
