So we have been here for a full week now! Can’t believe it!

So, I’d love to share with you all what a typical week looks like for us here!

Monday through Wednesday we help out with manual labor. Our hosts have a “farm” which is really just a house in the middle of no where on quite a bit of land. They use this farm as a place for people to come and be discipled. On these days we sleep at the farm and this is our schedule:

5:30 – I usually get up and do a workout of some type

6:00 – I shower and get ready

6:30 – Bible study time with our host

7:00 – Breakfast

8:00 – Work on the farm (includes building a path through the forest, digging holes for fence posts, and working on the roof of a sanctuary)

12:00 – Lunch time!

12:30 – Nap time!

2:00 – Back to work! (includes building a path through the forest, digging holes for fence posts, and working on the roof of a sanctuary)

5:00 – Coffee/Hangout Time

7:00 ish – Dinner

Then we hang out and have team time for the rest of the night.

Then, Thursday is our rest day. So this looks a little different each week – but in general we sleep in, take it easy, and go into town to get wifi.

Friday is our adventure day! This week we are headed to some cold and hot springs 🙂

Then Saturday and Sunday we stay in town at our hosts’ other home. We help out a kids’ clubs all day Saturday, then go to church/help out with the kids on Sunday!

So far, it has been a lot of fun! And God has done some pretty great things which I will update you on next time I have wifi!

Thanks again for all the support! Be sure to subscribe to this blog if you haven’t already!

P.S. I have made a bunch of video blogs which I am really excited about – but the wifi we have is not very good. It’s hard enough to try and upload a picture – so my videos are near impossible! But hopefully eventually you’ll be able to see some of those as well 🙂
