This past Monday through Thursday, John, Emily, Christine and I traveled to another town about an hour away and worked with a local church. We stayed with an incredible family in their little flat, ate like kings and did various ministry projects.
One of our favorite parts was going into the local elementary schools and helping out in several 2nd and 3rd grade English classes. They were all learning to count in English to 12 and so we played 1 potato, 2 potato… 12 potato! And then that student had to sit down. We also did heads, shoulders, knees and toes as well as helping them with the alphabet.
The second day all the kids wanted our autographs, so as we were leaving, the four of us got mobbed by all these little kids holding out pieces of paper and pens. It was adorable and we had a blast with all of them. Here is a little video of some of our time in the school.
