HEY Y’ALL!
My name is Margaret Pulley, but you can call me Marge or Margo.. or really whatever suits your fancy. But I will respond quicker to Marge or Margo. I’m 24 years old and I’m from Conway, Arkansas.
I’m a firm believer in stepping out of your comfort zone to be better than you were the day before. So welcome to me stepping out of my comfort zone to be better and better everyday. I’m not sure what a blog is supposed to look like but hey, we’re all in this together right?!
Here’s some fun little nuggets about me:
– I moonwalk away from uncomfortable situations. Some say that Nick Miller off of New Girl started that, I disagree. I moonwalked away from a boy trying to flirt with me in 10th grade. WAY BEFORE NEW GIRL!
-I have an obscene amount of love for animals. My parents hate it cause I always wrangle them in to help me with the strays I find on the side of the road(Thanks Mom & Dad )
– My favorite quote is from the book Alice in Wonderland:
“There’s no use in trying,” said Alice; ” one can’t believe impossible things.” “I dare say you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen. “When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.“
– Donuts bring joy to every ounce of my soul.
– I always try to see life as one big adventure that needs to be experienced
– I’m a firm believer that dessert should be eaten first, because lets be real here, Jesus could come any day now. I wanna enjoy the cake while I can.
– I believe in tough love and compliment sandwiches.
– I have 2 brothers, a black lab, a brother dog, and a nephew cat.
– My favorite movie is Harry Potter
– I love hiking, backpacking, and rock climbing. Really just anything outdoors, even though I don’t get to do it as much as I would like.
– Im an outgoing introvert. I LOVE being around people, but hiding away with a good book or movie and a snuggly blanket gives my spirit all the smiles.
– I currently am a leader in my churches Youth Ministry, I lead a small group (we call them tribes) of soon to be 12th graders. They’re my little nuggets and i’ve had the immense pleasure of being their tribe leader for 4 years!
– Lastly, I’m a sucker for a really lame joke. Or just anything super cheesy and stupid. Dumb, dry humor is my favoorriittee!
I became a follower of Jesus Christ when I was 20 years old and I never really knew what that was going to look like for me. I thought I could be a nurse and be His hands and feet that way, or maybe a psychiatrist, or any other thing that i believed I had to go to school for to achieve the Kingdom. God spoke to me one day and made me realize that we are all made beautifully different and our paths to the Kingdom are just that, beautifully different. When the World Race fell into my lap I immediately felt peace and knew that this was apart of my beautifully different path. Y’all, I’m so excited that you’ll be joining me on my next big adventure! Keep me and my team in your thoughts and prayers as we journey along our well crafted paths to be the hands and feet of Christ!
