Last week my team and I were given the opportunity to paint a mural inside the church we have been working with. The inside of Casa Biblica (our ministry hosts church) is one large room. Where on Sundays they hold service and Sunday school. My team was blessed with being able to paint the corner where Sunday school is held. My teammate Ashley came up with this brilliant idea and let the Lord lead her with designing our mural. It was such an amazing and God driven experience. My team and I hit the drawing/painting hard and managed to get it all done in three days! The talent that was displayed throughout this process in my team was mind blowing! I mean I knew these girls were talented, but man. We were on a tight budget so we could only afford to buy primary colors (red, blue, and yellow) along with white and black. Which meant mixing colors became our best friend. Shutout to Anna! She is a color mixing queen and literally could make any color we needed. When you scroll through the pictures you’ll understand what I mean. I had the pleasure of painting our lion, rhino, and giraffe. It was so much fun making this painting come to life alongside my team. Working together with my team to create this mural really opened my eyes to the fact that anything can be ministry. There is no set standard, no box or mold you have to fit in. You can be as creative and fun as you want all while serving the Lord.
