Hello!

Today is Wednesday. Not Tuesday. It makes the pun not as good, but the gratitude is just as real.

Looking at my journal this week, there were a few days that I struggled to be grateful. A couple of days, my body didn’t feel great. One day this week, I cried FIVE times because I was homesick and went to be at seven pm. For those of you who know me well, that is not common. I don’t care to cry, I’m not generally homesick (having lived away from my family more often than not in the last four years), and seven is NOT my normal bedtime. I had days I didn’t want to do ministry, days I didn’t want to be with people, and days that seemed neverending.

However, through it all, God was so good to show me what I had to be grateful for at the end of the day. He showed me what grace looks like for myself and my team, and how to rely on Him when I’m hurting or upset. He is still teaching me these things, but I’m getting a taste now, so that I can see He is good.

That being said, this week I am grateful for…
