I have so many blogs stored on my computer that I haven’t posted. I have so many stories I haven’t told.

As I write this, we are finishing up debrief in Bulgaria and preparing to travel to our month 9 ministry sites. MONTH. NINE. I don’t know what’s harder to believe: that we’ve been on the field for 8 months or that there’s only 3 months left.

One of the wonderful things about the race and #11n11 life is that every month is a new beginning. I’m in the practice of setting goals each month (and learning how to be okay if I don’t reach them).

This month, I have a goal to step back into blogging…and slide into your inboxes a LOT more. There is so much to tell, so much I have written or drafted or even poured over in thought, and I want to share that with you all this month.

I’ve made it a goal to post a blog for every day of April.

*It’s April first and I’m posting this with less than an hour left of the day Bulgaria time, so my professional procrastination (read: journalism degree) is being put to use already.*

Some of them are old–like I really want to talk to you about Christmas on the race. I told you they were old. Some days I might have nothing new or remarkable to say. But that’s real life and that’s the real race. I hope you read anyway, and see through my little internet space that God’s goodness is in each and every day. I hope someone sees these posts and feels better equipped to live out the great commission, to travel, to mess up and truly rely on His good mercy. I hope this month I make someone laugh when they really needed it. And that all starts with me putting words out there.
