The most incredible thing just happened.
A couple days ago, my sweet squadmate Cimone needed another $4,850 in order to reach her financial goal and launch on the World Race with us. Plus, she only had four days to reach it.
I’m going to be honest here. I didn’t see how this could happen. I’m so painfully task-oriented and bent on being practical that I just sat, thinking, “There’s no way.”
I shared about one of Cimone’s support raising efforts on my Instagram story, hoping to maybe rein in $50 or so total, reminding myself that the small gifts add up. And then, our whole squad got a message. $4,850 had been deposited in Cimone’s World Race account.
Praise. The. Lord.
If you felt the earth shake, it was probably 33 of us dropping to our knees in shock. So much wonder. So much awe. And I was hit really hard with the question, “Why did you doubt Me?”
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes — PROVERBS 3:5-7
God is so faithful in providing. And He doesn’t forget about his kids. If it’s in His will for them to be Kingdom warriors, He doesn’t let them fall through the cracks.
Watching Cimone journey through this process of support-raising has taught me so much. She has not wavered. She has not stopped trusting. She has not stopped praising His name. And she never had a reason to doubt Him.
Maybe you’ve heard someone say, “I would move mountains for you,” and I’m sure they meant it. If they could, they would. But the big difference–what we all need to understand–is that not only can He move mountains, but He does. Again and again and again.
I saw Him move mountains today. And I believe, I’ll see Him do it again.
We have one more squadmate who needs to reach the $10,000 goal to launch with us. Will you be a part of God’s next money miracle by donating here?
You made a way, where there was no way
And I believe, I’ll see You do it again
Great is Your faithfulness, faithfulness
I’m still in Your hands
This is my confidence, You never failed me yet”
