My new team, Team Summit, spent the last month working with BCI International School and Church teaching English to preschoolers and kindergarteners in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It was a blast! I have preschool songs stuck on repeat in my head all the time now.
We also did outreaches to an orphanage and brought church to surrounding villages. We met some amazing missionaries in Cambodia. I’ll be talking about them in another blog!
Many of the kids at BCI International school are there on sponsorship or scholarship otherwise they would not be able to afford any education at all, not even in Cambodian schools. They’re so smart and it would be a shame for them to not be able to be educated. My team had the privilege of being able to sponsor two brothers.
