Hello Everybody!!

I hope today is going wonderfully for all of you and that it continues to be blessed! I figured it was time to blog again! I first want to start off by thanking all who are praying for me! This is so important and I can FEEL the prayers! Fundraising is tough and sometimes the devil (aka the PUNK) likes to try to bring us down bc we are likely to be more vulnerable in these times. I will not pretend that I haven’t experienced hard times already, nor will I pretend that I haven’t looked at the July trips to see which one I would pick if my funds don’t come in by the deadlines that are to be met. I WILL say that through all of those times where I may have questioned or allowed room for doubt I NEVER felt peace about it! Not once when I am down or feeling like this maybe is too big of a dream do I ever get confirmation of any kind that those feelings are from God! I know that the Devil preys on the weak and he loves to fill us with doubt, especially when we are striving so hard to do the work that God has set before us! I have to stay strong in Him and remember that He is my strong force and He is my strength! I cannot get through this without being obedient to Him through my never-ending faith and trust in Him!

That being said my first financial deadline is coming up! By September 25th I need to have $3,500 raised. I am currently at $2,800 so I need to receive $700 dollars to meet this goal! I have NO doubt that if this is what God is leading me towards (which I honestly am pretty certain of) that He will make sure I meet this deadline.

I was originally planning on getting the 75 T-shirts sold for this deadline to get that $1,000 but I am only at 52 so I think I will continue to sell them until I reach my goal and use that money towards the second deadline in December (two weeks before I leave) of $7,500. The t-shirts and all information are located in a previous post below incase anyone reading this would like more information on one.

So that leaves me with figuring out or trying to get that $700 in BEFORE the deadline. The donations need time to process. Checks can take up to 2 weeks and online donations can take up to 6 days sometimes so I am actually looking to have this goal by the 18th of September! This gives me less than a month! If I do not have the money raised by this time I do not go to training camp and get pushed back to a July route. If this happens then it is God’s will but I truly feel like this is the trip I am supposed to be on.

I have invited all of my Facebook friends to a page on fb that a very good friend has set up for me. She sales Scentsy and has a page up for people to buy things through my page from now until November and the proceeds of the total amount will go to me. This could be a way to kill two birds with one stone! If you buy stuff from this site for your christmas gifts you will also be helping me to reach my fundraising goal! This is the link to the page on FB.

There isn’t much left, at this point there is just a waterproof watch and a first aid kit, but they are on my list and haven’t been purchased yet. Any gift of any kind helps!

Other then sending out a HUGE thank you to all those who have helped by partnering with me and helping me financially so far I don’t know if I have anything else to update y’all on. I appreciate all the encouraging and uplifting I have received as well! It’s such a beautiful thing to have my brothers and sisters backing me up with something that means so much and has the potential to help so many. I love each of you and am blessed to know and have each of you join me on this journey!

Love you all
