Friends and family!! Frist of all, I have to apologize. I have neglected my responsibility to weekly blog and in that, I have neglected you. You’ll be hearing from me waay more often.

After 36ish hours of travel my squad and I arrived in Malaysia Sunday night

My team is paired with another all girls team from our squad, XOXO. Together we are working with YWAM, Youth With A Mission, by partnering with their varies local ministries. These guys are soo super efficient in what they do. Ministry looks like Teaching English, Homeless Outreach, getting a house in order that will house students for an international discipleship training, and next week we will even get to help with a Christian youth conference known as Firez.

Last night we helped a family staffed by YWAM move into their new house and that is ministry. That is serving the Kingdom. Chad and Nicole have been a part of YWAM for years and are extremely dedicated to the Malays and God’s vision for them. Last night after helping them move we ate pizza and listened to their story while their 4 children ran around their new house. How refreshing :’)

Malaysia is a melting pot of religion. There are people groups here from, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Myanmar and Somalia. 65% of the people are Muslim and of that, 50% are Malay. Meaning, born in Malaysia and, by law, cannot convert to Christianity. Most of the Christians here are Chinese. Please pray for unique and divine opportunities to share the love of Jesus.

Life on the race has been such a gift. Each month has brought me further and further into my faith and has taught me about what my function in the Kingdom looks like. I have so many stories to fill you in on so stay tuned! Y’all are amazing.

Ps- Thanksgiving was great!! We got to celebrate as a squad and even got to see the annual lantern festival the night before which, foreigners travel to Chiang Mai for that alone! Enjoy this picture of us all dolled up for our American Thanksgiving <3
