“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Let me start off by saying that I have been waiting for an adventure like World Race for a long time! My name is Malorie and I’m 24 years old. I am from a smallish town called Petal in Mississippi! Yes, I guess you can consider me a southern belle. I have the class and a whole lot more attitude! I work at Petal Primary School with first graders. I have lived in Petal my whole life and am excited that God has called me during this time to work in my hometown.

Some things I enjoy doing on a regular basis are spending time with my sisters, brother, and parents, adventuring with some of the best friends a girl could have, and going to as many concerts humanly possible.

I have 6 sisters and 1 brother. Even though my family is a big mixed family, we share a love like no other. I am extremely close with two of my sisters, Hannah and Brooke. Long story short, they’re my best friends. Speaking of, I have been blessed with some of the coolest people to hang out with. On any given day, we would load up and go hiking, running, or just stay home, cook dinner and watch a Disney movie. They’re not only my friends, they’re my accountability partners. These guys have helped me walk through some of the lowest moments of my life, but they have also been there to help me celebrate the victories.

The last part of the “A Glimpse in the Life of Malorie” would be my love for music and concerts. Thus far, I have 12 concerts under my belt and plan to have a few more make that list soon! Some of my favorite artists are Carrie Underwood, Pentatonix, James Arthur, Jesus Culture, Elevation Worship, and Micah Tyler. Music can “speak to people” but to me, it does more than that. Worship allows me to feel closer to Christ in that moment. It allows my heart to let go of all the struggles and aches of this world and just be with Him.

That pretty much sums up my life. I am excited for this journey to start! But a word of caution: bare with me as I learn this life of blogging and being vulnerable. Its something I am actively working on.

Thanks for taking the time to get to know me! Heres to the adventure of a life time!                                                      #11n11 #go
