I wanted to start this blog thanking all of my supporters, prayer warriors, and friends who have chosen to partner with me! None of this amazing journey would have been possible without you, and because of your generosity, the Lord is moving in big ways all around the world and in the hearts of so many people!
I want to share a little bit about how the Lords been moving lately so you can get a glimpse of the kingdom impact of your generosity. We’ve been in Ethiopia for over a month now, and man the time has flown. I’ve fallen in love with this country and the life of simplicity I’ve become so familiar with here. We’re in a rural village called Oromia, and our squad is partnering with Hopethiopia, an orphanage and NGO and our ministry has taken on many different forms. Whether it’s loving on and teaching the kids here, spending time with women in the training center, empowering them as they learn how to make and design clothes with the hope they can one day have their own trade in Addis Ababa, serving and loving the house moms, attending coffee ceremonies, eating injera and peeling potatoes with our cooks, cutting grass by hand, gardening, reforestation, or painting, we serve with Jesus at the center of all we do no matter how small and insignificant our tasks may feel. I’ve learned that every act of obedience no matter how small has a kingdom impact, a ripple effect, as other believers come together to serve and love. Sometimes ministry can feel mundane when I’m too focused on myself and tangible results, but I have to remind myself that I’m working for the lord and not myself, outcomes aren’t dependent on me. Walking in obedience with a heart after the lord is all he asks of us, and I just want to thank you for choosing to be obedient and invest in the kingdom. Because of your donations and the Lord’s hand in all of this, orphans in Africa now have homes and hope, people that have been outcast have discovered what it feels like to be truly loved and cared for, forests and lands are being restored, women are being empowered, a well that provides water for the entire community never ceases to run dry, a future generation is being raised up in Ethiopia that knows Jesus, and I get know the lord deeper everyday. Because of your generosity, Heaven is touching the earth all around the world, and I truly cannot thank you enough. I could go on and on about the amazing country Ethiopia is and how present the Lord’s hand is here, but for now I just want to say thank you. Thank you for supporting me and for supporting the kingdom, it means more than you will ever know.
