Last month in Cambodia our hostel was surrounded by murky swamp water filled with trash and junk, but the swamp wasn't our focus because growing through the swamp and junk were hundreds of beautifully stunning lotus flowers. Just a little reminder that even in the middle of life's messes when we have no idea what God is doing or what good can come from any of this, REMEMBER we serve the only true God who still brings beauty from ashes and can take our darkest messes and produce beautiful life even in areas we see as hopeless! We only have to choose to see in faith the flowers that are growing even when we may not be able to see them with our physical eyes just yet!
