Hey friends, this time of the year is one of my favorites. The joy over the Saviors Birth, the happy spirit of the season, the candy making,the Christmas music, the twinkling lights, the Christmas celebrations, the shopping, the hot cocoa, the seasonal smells, the search for the prefect gift for people to show how much you love them, the spending time with family and friends…I love all of that and this year Christmas looks a bit different! You see this year I’m overseas and will be transitioning between Ecuador and Peru!What am I doing?Well I get the honor and privilege of sharing the Love of Jesus with these fine South Americans! In Ecuador we are working with a special needs school program. Here we are helping to take care of the children who have all different illnesses and special needs, from cerebral palsy to birth defects to speech problems… We get the experience of loving on these children by: playing life skill games with them, changing diapers, feeding the children, taking the children for walks in the park, swinging on a swing with the children, talking with the children, massaging and doing physical therapy with the children, sitting with the children, smiling and laughing with the children, preparing food for the children, cleaning the rooms and shelves, sweeping and mopping the floors to provide a clean environment and so much more…Each day is different, you get to share and show love differently to each person.Soon we’ll travel to Peru! 40+ hours of travel on a bus. Yep I said 40+! Please pray for our safety, our health, our strength, our food to nourish us, for us to get sleep on the bus, and for however else the Lord leads you to pray.Once in Peru, my team is in Lima! Where we will be working with WYAM a ministry that is all over the world! It’s focus is on children and youth coming to Christ! We’ll be preforming skits, teaching children’s lessons, Street evangelism and so much more!As you can see we are very busy loving on people as the Lord loves on people! Please pray about what your part in sharing Jesus’ love can be! One way is to support what the Lord is doing through me and my team! Another way is to pray for us, for it’s not easy to travel 40+ hours, be away from friends and family, changing our diets monthly, getting sick overseas, learning new cultures, and so much more!!!For after Peru, we have Bolivia, Argentina, India, Nepal, Georgia, Armenia, Romania, and Albania!These countries have people who need to hear about Jesus and see his love too!
