My challenge this month:
To talk to the Lord daily, and be open to what he is sharing with me! Not only to record what he is sharing with me, but to be obedient and share with others what he is showing! So each day, I’m listening to the Lord and recording what he shares with me, whether in pictures, drawings, words, scripture, whatever he tells me and whichever way he wants me to represent it!
So in each image below is what the Lord wanted me to see…

Day 1: A drawing of old Quito, Ecuador!
Even though it has a long history, there is more history to be made here!

Day 2: A verse the Lord gave me!
“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” Isaiah 40:8
The word of the Lord is a strong, vital, and authentic book that is everlasting.

Day 3: Offerings the difference between the Old Testament and New Testament!
In order for the people to be considered clean and worthy to talk to the Lord(through a priest), they had to give a daily offering for their sins, which consisted of a food offering: 2 lambs a year old without defect ( one in the morning and the other at twilight) as well as a grain offering of the finest flour mixed with oil from pressed olives. To be accompanied with a drink offering of fermented drink with each lamb. For these offerings, are an aroma pleasing to the Lord! These offering happened daily.
In the New Testament, things changed after Jesus, the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE was laid down for our daily sins, JESUS! In John 3:16-17, “ For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

Day 4: Remember Me!
Remember me and what I’ve done for you! Remember that you have been made new and a coheir, because Jesus became the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE!
Many times it talks about blood being the life form. Especially in offerings that you are about to sacrifice! You were to drain the Blood before you gave a sacrifice to the Lord. It’s interesting when Jesus talks at the last offering he mentions that this wine is His Blood (His Lifeform)! Also, that the bread represents his body! Check out: Matthew 26:17-30 He specifically says in verse 28, “This is my blood of the (new) covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

Day 5: Wrapped in my Fathers arms!
This illustration was shared with me, from a squadmate Cami, during worship. She said she saw me wrapped in light, that was shining around me, keeping away the darkness, which represents the evil and fears that want to touch me and get into my mind to corrupt what good things the Lord is doing. This encourages me to continue to give my fears, worries, anxieties to the Lord! For he has got me in his arms and the Holy Spirit is shining bright through me to protect me from the darkness!

Day 6: This image was given to me the day before at worship too, from another squadmate, and I couldn’t get it out of my head!
My squad mate gave me this image from the Lord, It’s of firewood all stacked up and ready to be set aflame for a big fire! She said I’m the one to start the fire with my spark and being bold in the Lord!
Will you be the spark that lights the great fire?
To be continued…
