Community.
A word I never fully understood until now.
Something I never knew how much I needed until now.
Three months.
Fifteen girls.
One house.
Four bedrooms.
One huge slumber party.
A journey of rallying around each other through the highs and the lows.
A journey of building each other up in Jesus name.
A journey of being surrounded by girls who literally wipe the tears from your face.
And let the tears just fall when they need to.
Dance parties.
SO MUCH LAUGHTER.
Cuddles and movie nights.
Community fights for each other.
Community points back to Jesus.
Community loves like Jesus.
Community helps lift burdens.
Community calls one another out and calls them higher with love and grace.
Community dreams big.
A safe place.
A place that heals.
A place of prayer.
A place you can run to.
A place of pure encouragement.
A place of positivity.
It is so much fun.
The love I have for these girls brings me to tears.
These women have stood by me firmly.
These women have called me higher.
They have lifted me up.
They have laid hands and prayed over me many, many times.
They have tore down walls in my heart I didn’t know were there.
They have celebrated with me.
They have cried with me.
They have laughed with me.
They have loved me well.
I am so thankful.
Blessings on blessings on blessings.
Mal
