There are so many things that I could tell you about myself. I could spend hours listing out all the facts about me. I am twenty years old, and I am a senior at Thomas Edison State University. I am graduating with a degree in humanities, and I hope to eventually become a high school teacher. I have a wonderful family with three little sisters.
These are all good and important pieces of my life, but these pieces of who I am will not last forever. In a few short months, I will be leaving most of what I use to define myself behind. I will graduate college and so the title “college student”, which I have identified myself with for years, will be gone. I will spend nine months without my family and friends, and so I won’t be able to use them to define who I am either.
The bottom line is that I am a child of God, and I am made in his image. He loves me more than I could ever comprehend. I am so blessed that he was willing to give up his only son for me. He knows the number of hairs on my head and has got me in his hands. I am so overwhelmed with his love, and I know he is calling me to share that love with other people. I am so excited to get the chance to love on God’s children on three different continents over nine months.
During those nine months and the months leading up to my launch, I’ll be needing support. You can support me financially through the “Support Me!” link on the left. However, the most important way you can support me is through prayer. I am so excited to see what God has in store for us all in this next year! Thank you so much for partnering with me on this adventure!
