Let the fun begin! Training is officially over (though I know I have a lot of learning left to do!) A and B Squads split up for the rest of our time in Mexico 🙁 You can follow A Squad´s steps by checking www.theworldrace.org.
As for the B Squad, we moved to a church near downtown Palenque. It was hard to leave this amazing sight that has been our backyard for the last week!
Get this – Now we are camping in the yard and sharing one toilet and one bucket shower! All 25ish of us! Including the gross boys! Haha! This will be interestig… We are grateful for our accommodations, and the blessing of a cook!
We will be doing some ATL (Ask the Lord) and following his leading. In reality, we just want to love people, and there are people everywhere, so I don´t think we will lack in ¨ministry¨ opportunities! We´re hoping to hang out with some kids regularly, re-visit the rehab center, do some serious intercession, and help build up a local fellowship of Jesus-lovers.
Please pray that we will ¨be Christ¨ to everyone we meet. Pray that we would be given grace to be able to love as God loves!
Pray that we will remain in the Vine (Jn 15) and remain united in spirit, purpose, and love.
Pray that we will listen for the Voice of the Lord and follow where He leads.
