As you know, I am getting ready to fly out on December 31st for the Race! I would like to invite each of you to join me on the journey. With the help of modern technology, you can see pictures, hear stories, and receive updates throughout the year. You have several options to choose from and can receive as much or as little information as you would like. You can stay up-to-date by doing any or all of the following:

Prayer Request Emails: I am asking for a lot of prayer, mostly because I’m in way over my head here! Also, I know that when I’m praying for someone, it helps to receive specific prayer requests. If you would like weekly prayer request emails, please email [email protected] and the staff will add you to the list! I truly appreciate your intercession on my behalf/the behalf of my team and the world.

About the staff: I have been so blessed to have amazing friends! Two of them have volunteered to manage communication for the year. They are my Support Team Management Executive Staff! Amber Overholser and Amanda Dowdy will be sending out the prayer request emails and e-newsletters. They will also be maintaining the EpicJourney email account. (Thanks, ladies!)
Preparing for the Race is going well. The packing list is kinda freakin me out, but it could be fun to live with five outfits for a year! 🙂 Finanically, I currently have about 60% of the funds raised/pledged – THANK YOU to all who have donated or pledged support.
