Support raising is a necessity for anyone with big dreams and small bank accounts. But it is more than asking for money – It is an invitation to be a part of what God is doing in the world. Support raising is a faith venuture. It is “being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see” (Hebrews 11:1). For me, it was looking at my checking account and signing up for the $13,000 World Race, and believing that the two would somehow meet each other. I believed that God had truly called me to this adventure and that God would provide through the generous hearts of my family, friends, and supporters.
As of today, December 29th (two days before departure), I have
