After roughly four days of travel, we have finally made it to Thailand! The culture and the people here are very different from Guatemala, but the vision hasn’t changed. The past three months in Guatemala have been filled with growing and refining who I am in Christ and my relationship with Him. I can’t wait to see where these next six months will take me. We are only here in Thailand for about 4 weeks and then to Myanmar and after we will come back to Thailand for a month.
The Lord has been teaching me what it looks like to truly live a life that reflects Him. To live a life that glorifies Him even behind closed doors. Matthew 10:39 says, “Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.” Jesus is telling his disciples to let go of control and surrender everything over in order to find their life in Him. Every time I think I’ve surrendered it all, the Lord reveals something more. He is constantly opening my eyes to be aware of the things I need to work on. I can choose to sit and be satisfied with where I’m at or I can pick up my cross daily and die to my flesh.
I have come from an attitude of “I will give 70% because it looks good enough” to “I want to give 100% and beyond because I’m so freaking in love with the Father and I can’t keep quiet about it.” Thank you Jesus for the grace you’ve given me for my past attitude and thank you for the transformation that has happened to reach the second perspective.
God wants to use all of us. We just have to be willing.
I can’t wait to see what he’s going to do in this month of Thailand. Please keep my squad and I in your prayers. Thank you for all of the support and continuous prayers. I appreciate it so much.
