With only three months into the race, the Lord has taught me so much. I’ve learned what it looks like to have a kingdom mindset, how to vision cast, listening to the Lord, speaking life, and so much more. I have had the opportunity to truly be the hands and feet of Jesus, here in Guatemala. When God called me on the race I knew I was giving up 9 months of my life. I knew I would be missing out on spending time with my family and building relationships at home. But because the Lord called me, I responded in obedience. I said “yes” with no hesitation and it didn’t stop there. Partnering with the Lord means to have a constant “yes” in your spirit. It’s about giving, not receiving. This is something the Lord has continued to teach me. I pray for the Lord to continually posture my heart to give not expecting anything back.
I have some family that is still fundraising. (Don’t stop reading!!) These family members have been walking in obedience with the Father and working hard to stay on the mission field. They have continued to say “yes” and I’ve seen the Lord move through them in incredible ways. I ask you to please pray about giving to these missionaries that I call my family. Even $5 will help.
