Hey all!

So it is all squad month here in Nepal with S Squad! All 55 of us are living together in a 4-story house and it’s basically organized chaos (as our mentor Beka said). We get to figure out how to share one bathroom between 15 people, how to find both shoes in a pile of 100 that start to all look the same, and how to all do our laundry on the roof. Definitely organized chaos, but it works. We learn how to share what we have (because it’s not ours anyway), help someone wash their laundry because they’re sick, call each other out when we’re late for ministry, figure out how to communicate well to a large group, and learn how to always be flexible.

The struggle is real, but we grow closer and get to work through different things than we would in just our teams. This is a pretty remarkable group of people and I’m glad to get to go through this journey with them.

More pictures to follow at some point! Here’s the room my team and two other teams are sleeping in! They actually have mats and pillows for us to sleep on, pretty fancy 🙂

Until next time,

Malia
