I just wanted to give everyone an update on how things were going. And all I can say is ever since I made the decision to leave in January things have been going so well.
I am selling t shirts for $20. It's amazing what a difference $20 can make. I have pre sold about 55 shirts and have received about half of the money already. In fact, I have received enough money to go ahead and buy 30 extra t shirts for people who will want a shirt after I receive them!
Also, and this one is really cool, my church does vbs in July and they spotlight one missionary. Since I am no longer leaving in July I was asked to be that missionary and be able to say a few words at the beginning of every night! Yup, I am quite excited about that.
As sad as I am to not leave with G squad, I am so excited to be a part of M squad! Leaving in January has just… worked. I don't know how else to put it. Things just seem to be working out really well. Not just financially, but in many other ways too.
Even though I have more time on my hands, I am not going to lighten up on my fundraising and have made my own goals to meet throughout the next few months. I have very high hopes and I just know God has already provided every penny. I just have to seek his will and find the provision!
