It's Tuesday, so I woke up to the lawn mowers and edgers tackling the grass outside at 8am. And they are so loud it sounds like one of them has climed my roof and is just standing outside my window with edger going. I tried sleeping longer but at some point I really needed to just get up.
So, I get a phone call from a friend on M squad (the squad I will be traveling with). We were exchanging random conversation while I on my laptop to check the amount of funds in my World Race account.
My jaw dropped and my hands were shakey. My account was at $2,350 just yesterday. Three donations came in on 9/22 and one more on 9/24 that I am finally able to see in my account.
A friend gave me way more than I would have anticipated!
A girl on my squad, who has to fundraise the same amount I do, gave me money and we haven't even exchanged a hello yet! I can guarantee you I will be seeking her out first thing at training camp!
There was also an anonymous giver! I can't send you a thank you card, so I just want to say THANK YOU to you! Wherever you are! 😀
I also received several checks from church on Sunday that I mailed in on Monday!
So, how much did I raise this weekend?

$1,010 just THIS WEEKEND!!!
God is so good! He showed up in a way only God can! I am blown away!
This leaves me with $3,360 in my account which is only $140 away from the first deadline and I am totally not worried about it because if God can provide me with over $1000 in one weekend, he can provide me with $140 in 6 days.
So I believe this deadline has been reached and now, on to the next one!
$6,500 by December! I am hoping to reach it well before December so I am not scrambling like I was for this one!

UPDATE!!! I made my deadline within a few hours of posting this blog. And the person who just gave $200 to put me over, didn't even know all that happened! So I made it!!! I made the first deadline!!! This will have me with about $3,560!!!!
