•  Growing up, I wanted to become a teacher. I spent my whole childhood and young adult life planning for that goal. I never really asked God if that was His plan for my life, I just did it. I loved the teaching program and I truly believed that teaching was what I was made to do. I began teaching in 2012 and every year I found myself questioning if it was really what God had for me. I am still working that out.
  • I am part of a crazy, dysfunctional, loud and loving family. I was raised in a way that made me strong, capable and accepting of others. I am so thankful for that.
  • I am a part of the most wonderful church family. I have grown so much in my faith and walk because of them (38th avenue Baptist). Anyone in the area should drop in and visit!
  • I love Jesus Christ, animals, talking to people I don’t know, reading for enjoyment, laughing and loving on children.
