Hello everyone, Makinze again. We just finished our debrief in Jaco, it was a wonderful time of rest for me and my squad. We spent a week getting ready for month 2, we reflected on what we had already done and what we would like  to accomplish in the near future. In this blog, I want to tell you about my ministry for the rest of my time in Costa Rica. We started our new ministry with CRU. It is a worldwide organization, that works to evangelize to college students. Jaimasi, (my team) is working with CRU on the campus of The University of Costa Rica. We get to know the students here and have weekly meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as an English club in Fridays. We have just finished our first week working with our new ministry partners. So far we have been going up to students and talking to them about God, and inviting them to our meetings and activities. In these meetings, we play fun games and have a discussion about our faith and the Bible. I have come out of my shell a lot in these last few days. I cannot wait to get fully involved on the campus here! There are a couple of things I would like to do that I do not have the capital for. My team would love to make some homemade desserts and pass them out for free to the students, so that we could reach even more students. As well as make some flyers that we could pass out as a reminder for our weekly meetings. I would love to have a budget of $100 for these things. Please email or send me a message on social media or leave a comment on this blog if you would like to contribute to this goal, and I will let you know the best way to help! God is doing great things here in Costa Rica, and I can’t wait to see what we can do while working with CRU! Thanks so much! Love you all and talk again soon!

UPDATE: we have met our $100 goal! Thank you to anyone who donated! We will be garhering a ministry budget for each country, if you are still interested in donating, I will post an update blog about what the funds will benefit and how you can help! Thanks so much!
