So lets talk about my luncheon fundraiser… God has blessed me so much by giving me a church family that REALLY likes tacos…JUST KIDDING! I am not almost fully funded because of those delicious tacos. No, I am very close to being fully funded because God gave me this calling and through all of my nervousness, and occasional doubt, I trusted Him and you people partnered with me and cared enough about what God is going to do through me to donate your own hard earned money! Chapel of the Hills Baptist Church has some of the most loving and caring people that I know. If you need people to love you unconditionally, may I suggest stepping into that church for just one week and see how it changes you. I am amazed by how I have got to this point of being almost fully funded. It has been a long, crazy, and daunting ride. (and its not over yet) But I have been strangely calm and been able to find peace in this journey, because I know God is calling me to these countries. I cannot thank each of you who bought a tee shirt or a sticker, or adopted a box, or donated shoes, or put a donation on the tree! I am so thankful that God has been by my side through all of the craziness, and I know it will get much crazier soon! All I can say it THANK YOU LORD! At the beginning of this adventure I had no idea that I would be here so soon, I thought I would have several months of fundraising left, but that was not the plan for me! God took that little green bar up there from the very beginning to the very near end, and that right there is a testament to His faithfulness through my journey so far, I have no doubt He will continue to be right here with me in these upcoming months. Soon, my whole day will exist to serve anyone other than myself, and I cannot wait! Thank you Jesus!
