Hey everyone! Yesterday was great. We went to a women’s prison and planted 100 herbs right by their kitchen. It was soooo dirty, but our team was just so happy to be there! I think we were blessed just as much as they were! Prison ministry just makes me so happy. I have never participated in something like that before. I am so blessed by the people I have on my team, they make everything enjoyable, from cleaning a house to going to play soccer with inmates. I have been so blessed.
Today, we had ministry with Conexion, they are our normal ministry partners, we go there bout 4 times a week. It was our first time ministering to children, the language barrier was kind of tough but we tried to have the best time with the kids anyway. We started out going on a nature hike, it was more like scaling a mountain, everyone was okay though haha! Then we talked to them about having good values and being kind, since it was a school field trip the gospel had to be preached in moderation. Then we spent the next few hours playing games, doing crafts, and having a lot of fun!
This trip is going so good and I thank God that I am able to be a part of it! Thanks y’all, sorry its another short one but life is CRAZY here in Costa Rica. Love all of you and PURA VIDA! -Makinze <3
