Hey everyone, I wanted to get on here and give a quick overview of how my first big fundraiser went. When I was a kid, the Bluebonnet Festival was one of my favorite times of the year. I got to go to the carnival with friends, buy some new toys, and meet o lot of new people! My dad brought up the idea to become a vendor, and that’s when the light bulb went off in my head. I could sell my T-shirts and stickers and raffle some cool items off. So I ordered 75 t-shirts and bought some cute stickers. However, those were not the main items I wanted to sell last weekend. I bought a kayak to raffle off, and that is what I wanted to advertise the most at the Festival. So then we came up with a price we would ask for the tickets. We decided that we would sell them for $5 a piece or $20 for 5 tickets. In addition to selling shirts and raffle tickets, I wanted to buy some cases of water and just hand them out for free. I set up a donation bucket and got about 10% of the funds through the donation bucket. I ended up selling close to 200 tickets and about 15 t-shirts. In the end, I did very well, considering that the bad weather made me shut down the booth for about 3 hours on Saturday. So if you stopped by and bought something, I truly appreciate it so much! I want to say congrats to the winner of the kayak, and thank you for supporting my cause. That pretty much wraps up the Bluebonnet Festival, However, I am definitely not done fundraising. I am still partnered with Go Rings through the end of the month if you’re not familiar with them, they are a Christian company that exists to help people like me with fundraising. They sell handmade, ethically sourced jewelry. If you would like to support me through GoRings, you can click this link here> https://gorings.com/collections/all  Don’t forget to click my name at checkout! I am currently selling T-Shirts and Stickers but I am close to starting my next project. I am going to be making treasure candles made with Young Living Essential Oils, and my handmade jewelry. In addition to these, you can always make a tax-deductible donation through this very page. AND the last way is to adopt a box! Adopt-A-Box is a fun way to help me get to my goal. The numbers in the box correspond to that same dollar amount.
