Why hello there everyone! I’m so excited to begin my journey on the world race and I’m super excited to being blogging so that you guys can tag along as I prepare for and go on this trip! I just want to take some time to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me!
Who Am I?
My name is Makenzie Mullin and I’m 17 years old. I absolutely love missions and 100% believe that God has placed a special calling on my life for the nations and for His people. I have known Jesus since I was young, but over the past few years God has completely flipped my life upside down and challenged me to trust Him and follow Him completely, and my life will forever be changed because of the incredible love and faithfulness of our sweet king Jesus.
Where in the World did this Girl Grow up?
I was born in Louisville, Kentucky and I have lived here for my whole life. I live with my little {big} family and they are pretty great. I have my mom and dad and then my three sisters, Carlie (19), Grace (11), and Molly (9).
What Am I Passionate About?
I am so very passionate about sharing the love of the Lord with people and just sitting down and investing in people and hearing what they have to say. I absolutely love making deep relationships with people and hearing their stories of how the Lord has worked in their lives {God is seriously so cool}. I just love love love to listen to people and to pray with them and to learn about their lives and especially different cultures.
I am so so passionate about missions, but that is coming soon in a future blog post of its own so stay tuned 🙂
I am also pretty passionate about running. I have been running cross country for a long time {like 11 years}, there have been many ups and downs but I have loved it so much. The relationships that I made along the way, the experiences that I have had, and the opportunities that I had to push myself beyond my comfort zone allowed me to be stretched as a person and for that I am eternally grateful.
My friends are a pretty big part of my life as well. I have a great group of friends that surround me with love and are awesome in every single way.I have had the privilege of being friendswith some of the same people for over 10 years {but of course we have added many over the years}, and I believe that our relationships have been so successful because Christ has been placed at the center of our friendships– which I believe is key to having success in anything :).
What Do I Like to Do?
I really enjoy spending time at church, hanging out with my friends and family, and running cross country {no I’m not crazy}. I also really like to listen to worship music as I go throughout my day so that I can be reminded of our Sweet Savior in the midst of all the chaos of life {Elevation Worship is my JAM}. And my favorite books of the Bible are Esther and Job, they are pretty awesome and life changing if you ask me.
Who Am I Spiritually?
Psalm 139 says “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mothers womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” I know that my God created me and that He created me with a purpose. When life gets hard, I will always be rooted on the fact that the God of the universe created me and He wants me for ME!! How cool is that?? I am a treasured child of our Glorious Savior Jesus and YOU are too!! and that is definitely something to celebrate!! I love Jesus so much and I never want to lose the sweetness of His embrace and love. I am learning more and more everyday and I am by no means perfect, believe me, I mess up probably more than most. I’m just an imperfect teenage girl who is striving to trust and follow our Sweet Jesus with my whole entire being.

I just want to thank everyone so so much for letting me share what the Lord is doing in my life and I am so very thankful to have all the support that I have! I am so excited to see how God provides and I am so thrilled to encounter Him in new ways and to get know Him in a whole new way. The Lord has blessed me in more ways than I could ever list out {well I could but we would be here for hours and I don’t want to do that to you}. Much love to all of you <3
