First of all I’d like to apologize for the time that has passed since my last true update. So much has happened and it’s crazy to think we’ve already been away for almost 2 months. At the same time it feels like launch was a million years ago.
So month Uno in Ukraine was amazing! It was a little hectic and all over the place but wow was it totally worth it! We traveled all over the country and I was able to teach a beginners English class where we shared the gospel and what it means to be brave and step out in faith. (Go check out my YouTube channel! )
We had our first debrief as a squad at the end of the month is Brasov Romania then headed to our second ministry!
This month is all squad month so there are 29 of us sharing a house which has been super cool and super interesting. The only thing is if I want some alone time it means putting a sheet over my bottom bunk, it’s been my little safe haven.
So as we come into countries our hosts give us one day off to rest each week and if they are feeling generous they can allow us to have something called an adventure day as well.
A huge surprise to us was our host here in Romania when we arrived said, “you give me good ministry, I give you good tourism!” And we ended up spending a couple of days in Greece!
Man, it was so beautiful and I actually got to face a huge fear of mine! (Again, go check out my YouTube channel if you’d like to know what that is. wink wink)
Ministry this month has looked like so many different things. Coming into this month I wondered how they could possibly keep 29 of us busy 6 days each week but that’s just what they’ve done and it’s been so rad!
