So I’ve been asked the question a million times, “how in the world are you going to fit your life into a backpack for 11 months?!”
The answer….
“well I have no idea. I’ll let you know as soon as I find out!” This is usually followed by a laugh and then a tearful sigh as my eyes scream “seriously, I’m not joking…”
Ok a little dramatic, I know.
Truth is, living out of a backpack is really exciting for me. I’m not a very materialistic person and as much as I love my green comfy chair at home I’m ready to leave it behind for this season of my life.
I really thought that this wasn’t going to be that hard for me because I’m not bringing anything that’s not totally necessary.
so Tonight I decided to practice packing because training camp is just a two short weeks away from today! I’m super stoked and a little nervous about the bathroom Situation that’s going to be going on there. (I’m all about being one with nature So if it’s between a porta potty and the woods I might be going with the squirrels)
So Thinking I had it mostly figured out I laid all of my gear on my bed, looked it over once or twice and started packing. I’ve watched a ton of videos on how to do this so I’m pretty positive I’m at a pro level.
Tent? Check
sleeping bag? Check
medicine/medical bag? Check
and the list went on.
I was pleased to find I got it all packed away first try and even though it was filled to the top I had done it.
But wait!
Plot twist.
I had forgotten one very important thing…
All of my clothes!
All I had packed was my undergarments, socks, and a belt.
I don’t think thats gonna fit dress code…
Through a lot of trial and error I’m sure, I am determined to figure this out and I’m really excited about sharing it with everyone soon hopefully through a vlog!
If You havent already subscribed you totally should! I promise to try and keep my totallys to a minimum (insert winky face here)
