Some of you have asked, “What is the Race?” Some of you have asked, “What will you be doing?” And some of you have asked, “How can I help?”
Simply put, the Race is an adventure. We leave our comfort zones and familiar surroundings to spread the gospel through various forms of ministry, which will look different in every country. We usually won’t find out what we’re doing until we go from one country to the next, and sometimes we won’t even find out until we get there. As a result, the Race looks different for all of us, but this video will give you a glimpse into what I could experience over the next 9 months:
Now, how can you help? There are two major ways — prayer and financial giving.
To complete the Race, I need to raise a total of $12,488. I have certain deadlines to meet before I am able to go on the race. My recent deadline coming up very soon is $9,000 for me to attend training camp in July. I am roughly 7,000 of the way toward my goal and any amount you can give is an incredible blessing and help.
Financial support is important, but even more important is prayer support. God is going to do some incredible things during the Race and my squad and I will need lots of prayer coverage as we share his love around the world.
