In case you wanted to know who exactly I've been hanging out with here in Santo Domingo, heres a couple sweet photos of them. The first person here is Juan. He's our contact and is the guy we spend most of our time with. Probably one of the most positive people you'll ever meet. Super Jolly dude! Every time something not so good happens he just grins and in his Dominican accent and broken English says "its ok," and he moves on. He's also one of those guys who you can tell has only one mission in life which is to make known the name of Jesus. For example, the other day we were waiting on Juan to get here so we could go meet people and share some love with them, and just as were starting to think it was taking a bit too long our neighbor walked in and told us that Juan was in the hospital because he had some pain in his chest and it was obviously was bad enough to go to the hospital. Not a good situation to be in, but no more than 4 hours later he was headed to someone's house so we can talk to them and pray for them and show a little bit of Jesus to them. Also this guy shreds a guitar!

This next guy is a prime example of a heart breaker! his name is Chi Chi and we don't know a whole lot about him other than his parents aren't present hardly at all, not many people love on him, and he's got two brothers. He wonders around the streets by the church all the time and thankfully he wonders in from time to time so we can try to show him some love.
