Dear Family and Friends,

I know I am supposed to come home this summer but could I have a rain Czech?

I want to go to English Camp.

Signed,
A wanna be Czech high school student

We have been in countless classrooms this week promoting summer English Camps. My inner camper/camp counselor cannot watch this video without quietly wanting to jump in on the fun. But it is not just the fun that captivates me…it is the discussions.

Greater Than.

That is the theme of English Camp. To gather Czech students who desire to improve their English, partner them with God fearing English speakers, have a ton of fun AND talk about life. To dabble in all those worth asking questions like, “Why am I here?” , “Is it possible I have purpose?” ,  “Is there more than eat and drink for tomorrow you die?”

Small dreams.

Purposelessness.

Suffocated hope.

This week we have been inviting students to an event where they can start to combat these questions. To an event that, while fun, will place them on course to hear, clearly, that their lives are worth so much more. That they can dream BIG, breathe in hope in abundance and live with expressed purpose because Jesus did not die for a mistake.

This week we’ve been scattering seeds. Extending invitation after invitation to come speak English and hear the Good News. While I am exhausted I can't help but be energized. God is moving and I invite you to join me in prayer for a mighty harvest this summer.
