Thank you God!
Thank you US based team for the blessing of the experience and the stories; I continue to be grateful beyond words.
While we wait for the barricade to clear, the dear community we’ve been living in is throwing us a going away party. Really? We come to serve and they throw us a party. That is new and that is super great!
There is so much to be thankful for regarding our time in Serbia. Here are some highlights:
– We have learned a handful of new Serbian recipes whilst the next generation pastor is tutored in Bible
– The “summer” church has progressed with new electrical lines having been laid
– We’ve visited countless darling congregational members and prayed with them during home visits
– Sunday morning teachings and testimonies have been received with heartfelt impact and transformational joy
– I can now say I have farmed and that’s just fun!
– As a team we’ve grown together and worked to celebrate our individual strengths…we are becoming our own little community. Ignition Re-mix, I guess third time really is the charm.
Above all else, I have fancy new nails to go to the going away party with. The ladies from the church popped by the other day to pamper us. Check’m out!
Okay, so green toes may not have been my best choice (though, I love them) but little flowers on my ring and thumb nail totally redeem my girly side.
With that said, there are rounds of last chance pasties to consume before I potentially walk my way to country number eight, catch ya on the other side!
