This past
week was primarily training here at Shekinah Bible Institute. We learned about
various different subjects including how to stay healthy on the world race and
how to function as a missionary. We learned a couple different dramas; we also
learned how to hand wash clothes effectively. We have been able to spend some
time in the actual city of Palenque walking through the streets praying and
walking to get a sense of where the Lord is already working here in the city.

learned how to hand wash clothes effectively. We have been able to spend some
time in the actual city of Palenque walking through the streets praying and
walking to get a sense of where the Lord is already working here in the city.
After a
long week we were able to take sometime and visit Agua Azul, a beautiful
waterfall that is supposed to be blue. However, since we have been having lots
of rain lately it was a bit more “agua chocolate.” It was a beautiful day, exploring one of God’s
amazing creations.
Though this
week has brought lots of hard adjustments: heat, bugs, heat, coming into
community with people that I don’t really know, heat,…heat, I know that this is
where the Lord desires me to be. I have been sensing in my heart that the Lord
wants me to tell him how much I love him. This is different since I am used to
learning some sort of self change lesson, but it seems natural and right for
the focus to be on the Lord at this time. He is, after all, my peace. “Keep your eyes on me” He says. So Lord I praise you and thank you for
this amazing journey…I LOVE YOU LORD! Amen
