“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4
If there is one thing to be known about me; it’s that I love the Lord and this because He loved me first. He graciously created me, chose me to be His, saved me from my sin that would have separated us, and is now continually restoring me to be His daughter and bride. I love the Lord.
I am the very blessed daughter of a Lutheran minister and his lovely wife who reside in the wonderful northwest. They pastor a church north of Seattle and get to enjoy the beautiful Cascade Mountains whether rainy, cloudy or overcast. Now and then the sun makes an appearance here and when it does it’s the kind of beauty that takes your breath away.
I have one beautiful older sister who is faithfully serving the Lord in Florida. She continually endures the 80 degree sunny days living only 2 hours from the beach all for the work of the Lord. I visit as often as possible.

I have the wonderful privilege of being a registered nurse here in Tacoma. I love my job, I love being a nurse, and I, most of all, love the team of nurses that I work with everyday. I could not ask for a better job.
I serve on the kids worship team as a dancer at my church. What ministry could be more fun? Dancing with a bunch of kids with the worship band (that’s right, we have a band!) playing awesome kids songs…I am pretty sure it’s the best! I thoroughly enjoy dancing and singing. I have been doing both since I was a little girl.
As of late, I have taken up ice skating. I think it is so fun to be considered a “regular” somewhere and I am a “regular” at the ice skating rink now. I just finished my first competition entitled “Spring Fever” and I had so much fun. I have a great coach and many wonderful friends including my warm hearted and talented Russian friend.

Another thing I love is traveling. In fact if there is an excuse to get out of town nine times out of ten, I am there. The last two years have afforded many such opportunities. I took a road trip to many of the southwestern national parks over two weeks with a good friend of mine, went to Florida, got in some spring skiing/boarding at whistler, traveled to Disneyland with one of my best friends on my first “adult” vacation, went backpacking in Colorado, went to Florida, made a few short trips to Oregon here and there and then…oh, went to Florida again. Now I will be adding Georgia to the itinerary followed by…the world!

I am so blessed and excited to be given this opportunity to travel around the world serving the Lord. It pairs two of my greatest passions: Jesus and traveling. I thank God that He has chosen me and set me apart to share His gospel with the world. This truly is the opportunity of a life time. THANK YOU JESUS!
“Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:5-7
